The world’s largest offshore wind farm installation vessel is expected to arrive in UK waters shortly after leaving the Gibdock port in Gibraltar yesterday.
Seajacks vessel Scylla arrived onboard Offshore Heavy Transport’s OHT Osprey from Busan in South Korea via the Cape of Good Hope on 12 February.
Loading of the giant 23,000 tonne installation vessel saw OHT Osprey’s deck submerged about 8.5m to allow the Scylla float over the deck.
In recent days, Seajacks crews have reactivated Scylla with minimal issues.
The vessel departed yesterday morning for Great Yarmouth.
