Siemens has installed two thirds of the 48 turbines at the Westermeerwind offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
A total of 32 of the 3MW machines are in place with the first group of eight now producing power.
Siemens will transfer the other turbines in batches, along with the onshore transformer station, foundations and cable connections.
Westermeerwind wind farm is the largest nearshore wind farm in the Netherlands. Siemens is the main contractor and will maintain it for at least 15 years.
It is a part of the Noordoostpolder wind farm which has a combined 86 turbines offshore and onshore.
