The board of Falck Renewables has appointed Toni Volpe as chief executive officer, general manager and company director, effective from 22 February.
Falck board chairman Enrico Falck said: “[Volpe’s] extensive knowledge of the energy sector in general, and the renewables segment in particular, backed up by the extensive international experience accrued during his previous position and knowledge in human resources development, make him the best choice to accompany us towards further successes and positive results.”
Volpe was previously country manager and CEO of Enel Romania, having been with Enel since 2004.
Prior to that he worked for consultancy Bain & Company.
