Business-to-business trading platform Spares in Motion has seen a big increase in the number of wind turbines component manufacturers using the system.
Spares in Motion said it has seen over 15 new customers with recent subscribers including Hydratech-Industries, PMC Technology, BGB and SSB/Emerson.
Companies use the platform to sell their products directly to wind turbines end customers. The website only acts as a third party facilitating the advertising and the contacts between buyers and suppliers.
Spares in Motion co-founder Jochem Sauer (pictured) said: “The wind turbine aftermarket is seeing a double-digit growth as a consequence of the widening of the wind power market and its resulting demand for new and used parts, and maintenance services.”
