UK-based Specialist Marine Consultants has completed work for Siemens on EnBW’s fully commissioned 288MW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm.
The marine coordination work included coordination of Siemen’s personnel movements, planning of daily transfers, conducting site inductions and safety briefings.
SMC was also the focal point in the event of emergencies and undertook vessel inspections to ensure fitness for purpose and compliance with relevant regulations.
SMC managing director Ian Coates said: “We’re happy to have completed another successful project with Siemens. We are proud to have made a positive contribution to Baltic 2.”
