Boralex has closed financing for the 13.8MW Touvent wind farms and refinancing for the St Patrick wind farm in France for a total of €63m.
Crédit Industriel et commercial in collaboration with Desjardins provided the finance.
The financing for the Touvent wind farms is almost €20.6m.
Boralex said drawdown on the facility is subject to certain customary conditions that are expected to be lifted shortly.
Construction on the Touvent wind farms has started and commissioning is slated for the second quarter of 2016.
The €42.4m for the St Patrick wind farm will be used in part to repay the balance of the loan currently in place for the St Patrick facility, which is €28.4m.
It will mean that Boralex will be able to reinvest some €10.5m equity in its projects under development and support its growth initiatives.
St Patrick was commissioned between July 2009 and February 2010.
Boralex added that subject to completion of the financial documentation and certain customary drawdown conditions, the 12MW Plateau de Savernat 4.6MW Avignonet II wind farms will also receive financing from Crédit Industriel et commercial collaboration with Desjardins, of almost €17.4m.
