InfraRed Capital Partners and OPTrust have sold to Resonance British Wind Energy Income the 4.6MW Standford Hill and 4MW Oakdale wind farms.
Standford Hill is a two-turbine development at HMP Standford Hill on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent and has been operational since 2013. Oakdale is a two-turbine development at Oakdale Business Park in Caerphilly in Wales and has been operational since 2014.
Resonance British Wind Energy Income’s Nick Wood said: “These assets are a natural fit for our fund, which invests in operating onshore UK wind farms.
“They provide access to long-term, inflation linked cash flows that our investors are looking for.”
OPTrust managing director Morgan McCormick said: “This transaction illustrates the success of Partnerships for Renewables’ strategy to develop attractive and high quality onshore wind projects across the UK in close partnership with its public sector land owners.”
