Senvion has commissioned for RWE Innogy a 28MW wind farm around the cist of Nowy Staw in Poland.
The 14 MM10 2MW turbines are for a second wind farm around the city and add to the existing 22 MM92 units erected in 2013. It brings total capacity to 73.1MW.
Senvion started the work in August last year.
The wind farm feeds electricity to the Polish grid via an onsite substation connected to an RWE HV-line leading to the nearby city of Malbork.
Senvion Polska managing director Hendrik Boschen said: “The commissioning of the second project in Nowy Staw demonstrates once again their ideal suitability for Polish wind conditions.”
