JinkoSolar is to supply independent power producer sPower with up to 1GW of solar modules for several PV projects in the USA.
The agreement, which is JinkoSolar’s largest contract in the USA to date, will involve the supply of over 3m modules.
JinkoSolar US general manager Nigel Cockroft said: “This agreement is evidence of the reliability of JinkoSolar’s operation and competitiveness of its advanced module technology.”
SPower chief executive officer Ryan Creamer said: “Strategic sourcing is an element of sPower’s plan to secure resources in order to ensure that we successfully achieve our aggressive development goals.”
