Dong Energy is seeking third party services to assist with turbine maintenance at offshore wind projects in Danish waters.
The company tackles O&M at the 400MW Anholt, 209MW Horns Rev 2 and 163MW Nysted wind farm but due to “lack of internal resources” is seeking contractors to tackle a range of specific works.
Dong said there is a need for a third party service provider for ad hoc wind turbine service including bolt tensioning and replacement of major components.
All three projects feature Siemens turbines, with 3.6MW machines at Anholt and 2.3MW hardware at Horns Rev 2 (VS variant) and Nysted (CS model).
Dong is also leaving open the option to extend the turbine service agreement to projects off Germany.
