Vestas is to supply V110 and V100 2MW turbines to the 56MW Kozielice 2 wind farm in Poland.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver a total of 28 machines to the Energix Renewable Energies development for commissioning in the second quarter of 2016.
The deal includes a 15-year service agreement and builds on the 50MW first phase, which also features Vestas hardware.
Energix chief Asa Levinger said: “We value the high product quality and reliability of Vestas’ 2 MW platform as well as Vestas’ track record for on-time installations.
“We are pleased to further strengthen our relationship with Vestas for this project and potentially for other projects in Poland and in other places.”
Vestas said it was pleased to carry its 2015 momentum in the Polish market, where more than 750MW of turbines were installed, into 2016.
