US Geothermal has four projects totalling 68MW under development in 2016.
The company said the up to 30 MW WGP Geysers project in California has completed well testing and an interconnection study will be finished in February.
The 10MW San Emidio Phase II development in Nevada is continuing drilling and is expected to finalise the interconnection process with NV Energy in the second quarter of 2016.
In Oregon, water supply well drilling is continuing to support a hybrid cooling project for the 3MW Neal Hot Springs facility.
The fourth project is the 25MW El Ceibillo plant in Guatemala. The Ministry of Energy and Mines has approved a concession schedule agreement and drilling of three additional wells has also been completed.
Looking ahead financially, the company expects net income of between $3m and $7m in 2016.
US Geothermal chief executive officer Dennis Gilles said: “Our focus is on advancing our development projects.
“We have an excellent pipeline of projects and, combined with the favourable legislative environment, should enable us to improve our year over year performance and advance us towards our goal of becoming the North American leader in geothermal.”
