G2 Energy has completed work on a 5MW solar farm in Dorset which is now connected to the grid.
The company designed the GRP substation and foundation, supplied the 11kv switchboard and switchgear and supplied and installed cabling and earthing solution.
This was the 100th solar farm the company has completed and means they now have over 1GW of renewable energy connected to the National Grid.
It is one of 63 solar farms which g2 Energy are due to connect before the 31 March feed-in tariff deadline.
