AST Marine Sciences is to supply CWind’s vessels with its planned maintenance system software.
AST said the system allows crews to remain “on top of all the necessary equipment checks and servicing”.
AST business development manager Michael Montgomery said: “CWind is now able to offer their clients the benefits of increased efficiency gains from automation, predictive and planned vessel maintenance”.
CWind technical support coordinator David Butt said: “We are working with AST in implementing a new vessel planned maintenance system specifically tailored for the CWind fleet.
“Initial pilots have been successful and CWind will be implementing [the] … system in a staged programme to the rest of the fleet , initially starting with our four new vessels currently in build.”
