Senvion is to supply Fred Oslen Renewables with 62MW for the Brockloch Rig wind farm in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland.
The deal, first reported in subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS in September, will involve the delivery of 21 MM82 and nine MM92 turbines to the project, which will be located in the hills above Carsphairn Forest.
The first units will be installed in summer 2016.
Senvion Northern Europe managing director Raymond Gilfedder said: “We are proud to have signed our first wind turbine supply contract with Fred Olsen in the UK.
“Brockloch is a flagship project for Senvion in the UK.”
Fred Olsen Renewables chief executive officer David Brunt said: “This will be our first project with Senvion in the UK. They were selected following a competitive process and we now look forward to working with the Senvion team in delivering this project.”
