EDF EN Canada, a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, has commissioned the 74MW Mont-Rothery wind farm in Quebec.
The project is located in the Regional County Municipalities of La Haute-Gaspésie and La Côte-de-Gaspé and has a 20-year power purchase agreement with Hydro Quebec Distribution.
Operations and maintenance will be supplied by EDF Renewable Services Canada.
Mont-Rothery is the seventh wind farm to be developed and built by EDF EN following competitive tenders held by Hydro Quebec Distribution.
