SeebaWind Service will trade under the name of Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service from 1 January 2016.
The company has belonged to Deutsche Windtechnik since June 2015.
It said the renaming does not entail any structural changes, with the chief executive officers Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka, the employees, the head office in Osnabrück and all service stations unchanged.
The company’s coverage includes the Nordex range and Senvion systems, from the MD/MM systems to the 3.XM and 5M series, as well as Fuhrländer systems including the FL2500.
Management board member Matthias Brandt says: “Under the name Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service, SeebaWind has now become fully incorporated into Deutsche Windtechnik.
Like all units, it is specialises in competence, economic potential, purchasing conditions, remote monitoring, SCADA, contract management or the marketing of the entire Deutsche Windtechnik, for example, and also makes a contribution to these areas.”
The unit’s individuality has, however, been retained.
“In line with our identity as a medium-sized company, we allow ourselves autonomy where it makes sense. In this case, this relates to system technologies and various established processes.”
