Dutch wind turbine manufacturer Lagerwey has started to transport and ship the components that will be used to build the turbines at two wind farms in Finland with a total capacity of 27.5MW.
So far, the components of five complete wind turbines have already been delivered and the sections for the other six will be delivered in the first three months of 2016.
The components are transported on trucks to the port of Amsterdam and then shipped onto Finland.
Lagerwey uses 25 employees to manufacture the generator and about 20 people to work on the hub, nacelle and the base of the tower. It takes about one month to produce all the parts for two complete wind turbines.
