US developer Innovative Solar Systems is seeking to raise capital to expand its operations to over 5GW by 2018 from 2GW currently.
The company said a financial partner would enable it to secure an additional 3GW of projects within the next 12-24 months.
It is searching for a firm to help the advancement of the solar projects in about 12 states.
“Because there are only a few solar farm companies in the US with the number of projects that ISS has in its pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity for tremendous growth,” the company said.
ISS chief executive officer John Green said: “Obtaining an equity partner would give us the ability to become a dominant player in this market.”
