Siemens is to supply Austrian WEB Windenergie with 38.4MW for the Les Gourlous wind farm in the Champagne-Ardennes region in France.
It will deliver, install and commission 12 direct drive SWT-3.2-113 turbines to the project.
The company will also provide long-term service for the wind farm within a 20-year service and maintenance agreement.
Siemens said it will collaborate with local suppliers for the construction work on site.
Austrian WEB Windenergie chief financial officer Michael Trcka said: “We are very pleased to have found a new partner in Siemens to bring this flagship to fruition.”
