SeebaWind Service is to provide full maintenance for JWP Jade Windpark’s 40MW Esperstedt-Obhausen wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt.
The farm consists of 16 Fuhrländer FL2500 wind turbines, developed by Rostock-based W2E Wind to Energy.
The contract starts on 1 January 2016 for 10 years with an option to extend.
In addition to 24/7 remote monitoring, maintenance and repair work, the deal also includes the possibility of site-specific optimisation measures.
The wind farm managing director Oliver Nickel said: “In SeebaWind Service we have found a company that has the necessary know-how for the maintenance and repair of this sophisticated type of wind turbine.
“As well as the pricing, we were also won over by the convincing deployment of personnel and the maintenance concept.”
