Solar provider OneRoof Energy has appointed Brian Alexson to the newly created role of chief operating officer.
The company said the addition of the COO role is part of strengthening its sales and operations to drive the strategic Solar 2.0 initiative.
The initiative is “aimed at leveraging the scale and low-cost sales capabilities of “non-traditional” residential and retail sales channels with the goal of lowering the cost of customer acquisition”, OneRoof said.
Alexson,who was formerly chief executive officer for CS Operating, will be responsible for the prioritisation of company resources and overseeing the day-to-day operations and sales integration across the company.
One Roof Energy president and chief executive officer David Field said: “Brian brings an extensive background in consumer services and is a tremendous addition to our leadership team.
“With a combination of experience in consumer services, solar and other key disciplines, Brian is the perfect fit to marshal OneRoof Energy’s next stage of growth.”
