Canada-based Axys Technologies and Belgium based 3E have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate and cooperate projects for offshore marine industries.
Axys and 3E first came togethe in August 2015 when the former purchased FLiDAR, from 3E and OWA.
Despite operating in different geographical markets and providing different commercial offerings, both companies believe that together they can offer more complete solutions to common clients.
Planned activities include research, development and demonstration as well as sharing market trend information and innovative problem-solving techniques to meet and exceed client requirements and expectations.
AXYS and 3E expect to develop and jointly market several new solutions to perspective clients as a result of the agreement.
Axys president and chief executive officer Terry Tarle said: “We are pleased to be able to collaborate with 3E to develop new services and products that we truly believe will provide increased value to clients of both companies.
“This is an excellent opportunity that presented itself following our acquisition of FLiDAR six weeks ago.”
