Swedish developer Arise has appointed Daniel Johansson as its new chief executive officer.
Johansson will take up the post on 18 January 2016 and replaces Peter Nygren.
Johansson was previously a State Secretary in the Alliance government, and has worked in the past in the finance industry.
Arise chairman of the board of directors Joachim Gahm said: “We are extremely pleased to have been able to appoint Daniel Johansson as the new CEO at Arise.
“Daniel has extensive experience from the finance and energy sectors, as well as the sound leadership background we need to be able to continue realising our strategy within the wind power field.”
Johansson said: “It is my belief that the role of CEO at Arise will prove to be very exciting and an inspiration. I am delighted by the trust placed in me and look forward to developing the company alongside my new colleagues.”
