Dong Energy’s 209MW Horns Rev 2 offshore wind farm in Denmark has been shut down following a cable fault.
Transmission operator Energinet.dk said the issue with the connection arose at 01.56 on 19 October.
The fault has already been located and the TSO is planning a repair campaign.
Energinet.dk said it is “too early” to say how the error occurred or when the cable will be back in action.
The cable linking the wind farm to shore at Blavand in Jutland is 42km long.
