EnBW has completed turbine installation at its 112MW Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
Albatros is the sister project to Hohe See and the entire complex features a total of 87 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines that will provide 609MW of installed capacity.

All 71 turbines have been installed at Hohe See, with both wind farms expected to be fully operational later this year.
Hohe See is located around 95km north of Borkum and around 100km north-west of Helgoland, while Albatros lies 105km from each coast.
The complex covers 42 and 11 square km respectively.
Both wind farms will generate 2.5 billion kilowatt hours of electricity supplying around 710,000 households when fully operational.
