RWE Renewables has contracted Danish company All NRG to service HV systems at the 385MW Arkona and 302MW Amrumbank West offshore wind farms in the German Baltic and North Seas, respectively.
All NRG is providing HV and MV maintenance at the two offshore wind farms, with the corresponding contracts having been recently signed, the company said.
All NRG chief executive Michael Thatt said: “We are very proud that RWE has chosen All NRG to perform HV and MV maintenance at Arkona and Amrumbank.
“RWE is one of the front-runners within offshore wind and renewables.
“An ambition that goes hand in hand with the specialised HV competencies we hold within All NRG.
“Having worked at both sites with various work scopes since installation, we look forward to returning to Arkona and Amrumbank.”
Amrumbank West comprises 80 Siemens Gamesa 3.6-120, while Arkona Becken Sudost, of which RWE has a 50% share, features 60 Siemens Gamesa 6.0-154.
Arkona (pictured) was commissioned in 2019 and Amrumbank West in 2015.
