Array cable installation, burial and testing has been completed at Northland Power’s 269MW Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm in the German North.
Van Oord vessel Nexus completed installation in May, with burial and testing having taken place since then.

Prysmian unit Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke supplied the cables for the project.
Deutsche Bucht is located 95km northwest of the Borkum Island and will feature 33 MHI Vestas 8.4MW turbines.
It is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.
