Axys Technologies has supplied a trio of Triaxys wave and current buoys for resource assessment at Eon’s 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm in England.
The Canadian company delivered the hardware (pictured) to Partrac, which has been contracted to manage the supply, deployment, maintenance and delivery of metocean equipment through the construction phase.
“Axys is very pleased to be supplying Triaxys wave and current buoys to Partrac so they can support safe operations during construction of Rampion wind farm,” said Graham Howe, director of sales for europe.
Construction at Rampion is ongoing some 13km off the coast of Sussex. It is due online in 2018.
