Concrete pouring at the new onshore substation for SSE’s 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm off Scotland has been wrapped up.
The substation is being built adjacent to an existing one at Blackhillock, south of Keith.
Offshore construction kicked off earlier this month and the wind farm is expected to become fully operational in 2019.
The facility will comprise 84 Siemens 7MW turbines.
