Smulders Group has completed the first section for the 28 jacket foundations it is fabricating for the 588MW Beatrice offshore wind farm off the coast of Scotland.
Bladt is building a further 30 jackets and BiFab 26 foundations for the project, which will be located in the outer Moray Firth.
Seaway Heavy Lifting awarded the contracts for the foundations, having been appointed an EPCI contractor for the wind farm.
Beatrice will comprise 84 Siemens 7MW turbines.
