German politicians will meet domestic and UK offshore wind representatives in Berlin next month to discuss the transition to a hydrogen-based economy.
The programme will open with a speech from state secretary for the federal ministry of economic affairs and the environment, Andreas Feicht (pictured).
Also speaking at the event will be Germany’s state secretary for the federal ministry of transport and digital infrastructure, Enak Ferlemann, who will discuss the future role of green hydrogen in Germany.
Political frameworks and current developments and consideration of emission free examples from Germany and Scotland are among the topics expected to be discussed at the meeting, which has been organised by Germany’s federation of offshore wind farms (BWO).
The meeting will take place at the British Embassy in Berlin on Wednesday 20 November between 2pm and 5.30pm local time.
