Boskalis has completed the acquisition of the offshore-related activities of VolkerWessels, including VBMS, Stemat and Volker Stevin International.
The transaction will strengthen Boskalis’ position in the growing offshore wind market, the Dutch company said.
The deal covers the maritime and offshore wind energy businesses, where current combined annual revenue is around €200m with an EBITDA of €30m.
It was approved by the European Commission in June, three months after being announced.
The activities will be consolidated as of the third quarter this year, Boskalis said.
