Dutch company Primo Marine has completed a cable emergency response plan for Eneco’s 129MW Luchterduinen offshore wind farm off the coast of Noordwijk and Zandvoort.
The cable engineering outfit said the response manual covers prevention, preparedness and responses for use in cable emergencies.
Primo’s manual will form the basis of regular inspections and preventative maintenance, it said.
The company’s chief executive Jaap Smit said: “All our specialist expertise ranging from onshore and offshore engineering to project and construction management has been incorporated into this manual in order to support our client with their operations & maintenance challenges.”
