Cadeler has signed a firm contract with Ocean Winds to install 26 Siemens Gamesa 14MW turbines at the 390MW BC-Wind offshore project in the Polish Baltic Sea.
The contract follows a vessel reservation agreement signed earlier this year.
Located 23km off the coast of Pomerania, BC-Wind is Ocean Winds’ first Polish project and will supply electricity to nearly 500,000 households once complete.
Cadeler will begin installation in 2028 using one of its O-class vessels, operating from the Port of Gdańsk.
Chief executive Mikkel Gleerup said: “Poland is establishing itself as a key offshore wind market in Europe, and this project will be a significant step in strengthening the country’s renewable energy ambitions.”
The deal marks Cadeler’s first direct contractual partnership with Ocean Winds, following earlier collaboration on the Moray West project in Scotland.
It adds to Cadeler’s growing Polish pipeline, which includes Baltic Power, Baltica 2, and the Bałtyk 2 and 3 projects.
