The Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult is seeking a power analyser system for a so-called e-grid project at its Blyth testing centre in the north-east UK.
The project aims to develop an 18MVA grid emulation system or e-grid to be used in the 15MW wind turbine and 3MW marine drivetrain/powertrain test facility.
ORE Catapult said the power analyser will be used to link into the e-grid to allow measurement of current and voltage usage.
Interested parties have until midday UK-time on 1 November to register an interest. The contract scheduled to start on 24 November.
