Recruitment consultancy Taylor Hopkinson has secured a contract for the supply of client representatives for work on the 600MW Changfang-Xidao offshore wind farm project off Taiwan.
Taylor Hopkinson will deliver client representatives across all packages such as foundations, turbines and cables, including onshore works.
The agreement started in January and will run until 2023, the company said.
Changfang and Xidao, which reached financial close in February 2020, will be constructed in two phases and is expected to be fully commissioned by December 2023.
Changfang and Xidao senior project manager Ryan Colbeck said: “Taylor Hopkinson has been chosen for our Changfang and Xidao project based on their strong presence and excellent track-record in Taiwan and globally.
“With Taylor Hopkinson on board, we will be able to support our project team and suppliers and ensure consistency across all of our offshore transport and installation activities.
“Once completed, the project will feed 600MW into the Taiwanese grid, supplying enough clean energy to power 650,000 households.
“The next three years will be an exciting time in what is still a developing market. However, with the support of our trusted suppliers and partners, we know the project will be a resounding success.”
Taylor Hopkinson head of offshore wind contracts Neil Brown said: “Our expansion into APAC in the last four years has seen TH deliver key scopes of work to the majority of offshore wind farms in the region.
“We are excited to collaborate with COP on the CFXD project and it is testament to the best-in-class contract recruitment services that the team have worked tirelessly to create and continue to develop in the offshore wind sector.”
