LM Wind Power is to supply blades for Chinese wind turbine manufacturer CSIC HZ Windpower’s new H151-5.0MW platform.
The blades will be delivered from LM Wind Power’s plant in Jiangyin, with the first sets expected to be installed in the fourth quarter of 2016 at Rudong wind farm in the province of Jiangsu.
LM Wind Power supplied blades in 2013 to two prototype turbines installed at Rudong.
LM Wind Power chief executive Marc de Jong said: “This deal strengthens LM Wind Power’s growth in China and emphasizes the importance of highly reliable and efficient blades as a key factor for expanding the growing offshore sector.”
