Chinese manufacturer Ming Yang Smart Energy is supplying turbines totalling 300MW to the Zhuhai Jinwan offshore wind farm.
The project will feature 55 MySE5.5MW machines, Ming Yang said.

Zhuhai Jinwan will be located south of Sanzao Island off Zhuhai City.
The turbines will be installed in water depths of between 11 metres and 21 metres across a 44.5km-square area, the company said.
