Chinese company China Huaneng Group and Jiangsu province have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate the development of offshore wind projects off the coast of Jiangsu.
As part of the agreement, the two parties will invest RMB160bn ($21bn) in the Huaneng Jiangsu offshore wind hub.

The hub will aims to integrate R&D, manufacturing, construction and operation and maintenance for the sector, the partners said.
China Huaneng Group said it will also strengthen scientific research cooperation with Jiangsu universities and research organisations.
