CWHI has completed delivery of all 32 XXL monopiles for the 1100MW Inch Cape offshore wind farm off east Scotland.
The company said the final batch of eight XXL monopiles has departed from its Qinzhou yard aboard the COSCO vessel “XIANG TAIKOU,” concluding a multi-month delivery campaign.
CWHI added that 24 monopiles have already arrived on schedule and been successfully offloaded at the Port of Leith.
The company said each monopile measures up to 11.5 metres in diameter, up to 103 metres in length and weighs as much as 2,300 tonnes.

Young added: “This achievement highlights the dedication of our teams at Qinzhou yard, the strength of our logistics and vessel partners, and our continued commitment to supporting Scotland’s renewable energy ambition.”
CWHI said the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is located off the Angus coast and will play an important role in strengthening the UK’s clean energy generation capacity.
