CWind is to undertake operation and maintenance services for Eon at the 219MW Humber Gateway offshore wind farm located 8km off the Holderness coast.
The inspection and repair work, which will be carried out from CWind’s Grimsby office, will start this month and cover latchways, mechanical services and paint works for the project’s 73 turbines and offshore substation.
CWind managing director Lee Andrews said: “We look forward to working with Eon to successfully deliver a safe and well maintained asset, building on our successful history of delivery at Humber Gateway OWF, which we have supported through a range of services since 2013.”
The wind farm has been operational since June last year.
