China’s Dajin Heavy Industry will manufacture and supply monopiles for the Iles D’Yeu et Noirmoutier offshore wind farm in France.
The contract secures manufacture and supply of all monopiles.
Following Moray West Project, this is second monopiles project to be supplied from Dajin Heavy Industry to the European wind industry and first to an EU country.
Dajin’s European Project Management Team that will work hand-in-hand with the project in France and Chinese teams.
“The second contract signing with Ocean Winds for the Iles D’Yeu et Noirmoutier delivery is proof of the confidence coming from both parties that is also supported by the ongoing progress on Moray West fabrication,” said Owner and Chairman of Dajin Heavy Industry Jin Xin.
“We are honoured that we can support our client on its second very important project – another milestone in Dajin’s development strategy being the largest foundation fabricator for worldwide projects.
“We are not only increasing our capacity and capabilities, including solid steps for local content contribution but also our commitment to deliver ‘green foundations’ based on our own development of wind farms in China,” he added.
