Dalby Offshore Services and the Gardline Group have struck a partnership deal to create a new servicing facility for the offshore wind sector.
The joint venture company Trinity Marine Services will be based at Trinity Quay in the port of Great Yarmouth.
It will be pitched as a base for clients involved in servicing works on offshore wind projects off the East Anglia coast.
The site will also have office facilities, warehousing, office space, a 60-seat conference room, dedicated training facilities, serviced accommodation and workshops.
Work has already kicked off in the area with property upgrades, new pontoons and cranes being installed.
Trinity Marine director Stuart McNiven said: “We are very positive about our involvement in Trinity Quay and Trinity Marine Services, and the significant position of Trinity Quay in the port of Great Yarmouth.
“We will offer our present and future clients a ‘one stop service’ for logistics and personnel movement onto vessels servicing the East Anglia opportunities we all know are upon us.”
He added: “The Trinity Marine Services company is a year in the making and we are delighted to be again working with our trusted partner Gardline on what we believe will be a large boost for the port of Great Yarmouth and local area.”
