Danish TSO Energinet.dk has awarded the marine warranty surveyor contract for the Kriegers Flak combined grid solution link in the Baltic Sea to Con4Mare.
The Hamburg consultancy will survey the transportation and the installation of the gravity-based foundations and topsides for the offshore wind project’s two substations, it said.
The 200MW Kriegers Flak A and 400MW Kriegers Flak B substations, located about 15kms from the Danish coast, will transport electricity from the 600MW Kriegers Flak wind farm to the shore.
Substation B will include an extension module allowing the connection with the 288MW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm in German waters, Con4Mare said.
