Danish outfit Geo has won the tender to provide geotechnical and geophysical surveys for Vattenfall’s 350MW Vesterhav North and South offshore wind farms in Denmark.
Geo will perform offshore investigation works for the Swedish utility at the two sites off the west coast of Jutland.
Vattenfall expects the wind farms to start generating electricity in 2020.
The company won a tender to develop the nearshore projects in September with a bid of 47.5 ore per kilowatt-hour.
