Six Danish companies are collaborating to provide services to the offshore wind sector in Taiwan.
They are ProCon Wind Energy, A-leaf, All NRG, Comtech, Hytor and Site Solution Partners.
Each company will operate as individual entities with their own agreements and contracts from a shared office in Taiwan.
ProCon Wind Energy chief executive Claus Sogaard Poulsen said: “The industry and our customers require that we are locally present in the APAC region.
“However, even though it is a new market, there is no room for the long running-in process which everyone had in Europe.
“We have therefore established this offshore wind cluster with the purpose of transferring our collective experience to the Taiwanese market as well as keeping our start-up costs down. In that sense, we also contribute to a lower levelised cost of energy.”
ProCon Wind Energy provides off-the-shelf and custom-built solutions and technical equipment to the wind industry, while A-leaf offers consultancy services.
All NRG delivers high voltage electrical services, Comtech provides safety equipment, Hytor offers temporary power solutions and Site works in project logistics.
