DEME Group installation vessel Orion has left the shipyard and is undergoing sea trials.
The company said the trials aim to test Orion’s performance and dual fuel engines at maximum power.

The DP3 offshore installation vessel is 216.5 metres long, have a lifting capacity of 5000 tonnes and accommodation for 131 crew and staff.
Orion will be delivered by the end of the year.
It will be deployed by DEME to transport and install foundations at Orsted’s 1386MW Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm off the east coast of England.
