Dogger Bank is its first assignment after COSCO Shipping Shipyard delivered the jack-up, with the vessel leaving China in December 2022 en route to Dubai.
Voltaire has a crane capacity of 3000 tonnes, four legs of 130 metres, and ability to lift 16,000 tonnes of cargo out of the water.
Its innovative design makes the vessel highly suitable for the installation of next-generation wind farms, Jan De Nul said.
