Dutch company Glomar Offshore and Belgian outfit GEOxyz have formed a partnership targeting the renewable energy and the oil and gas sectors.
The partners said the venture will allow both companies to “benefit from each other’s strengths, equipment and client base”.
The main objective is to target work “close to home, with the prospect of hopefully expanding and spreading the available services on a larger global scale”, the companies said.
The partnership will offer: cable and trenching; offshore vessel support vessel; guard/chase vessel support; surveys; drone support; ROV and diving operations; unexploded ordnance identification and removal; and crew transfer vessels.
